Nursing Board Exam June 2009

The Philippine nurse board exam will be held on June 6 and 7, 2009 in Manila and all regional offices nationwide. Update 1: The Nursing exams results have been released
The said exam will be given by the professional regulatory board of nursing, under the administrative control and supervision of professional regulation commission. It was reported that 78, 574 are scheduled to take the nursing licensure exam in June, 2009.

1st Influenza A(H1N1) Case in the Philippines

The Department of Health in the Philippines confirms today the first case of Swine Flu, which also known as Novel influenza A (H1N1).

The first case is a girl who arrived on May 18, 2009. The symptoms – fever, cough, and sore throat – developed a day after her arrival in the Philippines while the test results came Thursday afternoon from RITM in Muntinlupa City. The 10 year old Filipina came from a trip to US and Canada. She is currently monitored and under quarantine.
