British boxer Ricky Hatton agreed to stage the match in Las Vegas. It was reported that he wants to stage the duel in the 90 thousand seater Wembley Arena in United Kingdom. Richard Schaefer, Hatton’s promoter said that Hatton realized that was not the best place for the fight to happen.
Pacman vs Hitman fight contract is expected to be signed within next week. In the coming meetings, the Vegas venue will be decided. The fight can be held at MGM Grand Arena or Thomas and Mack Center of the University of Nevada.
This will be Pacquiao’s first fight in 140 pound category. Ricky Hatton is undefeated at 140.
