The PRC and Philippine Board of Nursing announced that 39,455 out of 88,649 passed the November 2008 Nurse board examination. BON gave the exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Sulu and Zamboanga. Nurse Licensure Examination was held in November 2008. The nurse board exam results november 2008 were realeased in 53 working days.
The Philippine board of nursing is chaired by Honorable Carmencita M. Abaquin; its members are Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto.Tomas, Yolanda C. Arugay and Amelia B. Rosales.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
1. duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
2. current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
3. 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
4. 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag)
5. 2 sets of metered documentary stamps
6. 1 short brown envelope with name and profession
They are to pay Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012.
Schedules for all regional oathtaking will be posted by the Professional Regulatory Board of Nursing.
XAVIER UNIVERSITY topped the schools with 100 and more examinees while SAINT PAUL UNIVERSITY – ILOILO topped the schools with 30 to 99 examinees.
