The Philippine nurse board exam will be held on November 29 and 30, 2009 in Manila and all regional offices nationwide.
The said exam will be given by the professional regulatory board of nursing, under the administrative control and supervision of professional regulation commission. It was reported that 95, 282 are scheduled to take the nursing licensure exam in November, 2009.
The Board of Nursing said that Manila has 40,621 first-timers, 33 conditioned; Baguio has 14,102 first-timers, 7 conditioned; Cebu has 8,899 first-timers, 5 conditioned; Cagayan De Oro has 3,045 first-timers, 2 conditioned; Davao has 8,143 first-timers, 2 conditioned; Iloilo has 6,020; Legaspi with 3,070 first-timers, 1 conditioned; Lucena with 3,444); Tacloban has 1,145; Tuguegarao has 2,322 first-timers, 1 conditioned; Zamboanga has 1,609; Jolo has 166; Pagadian with 1,568; Angeles with 179; and Butuan 898.
The composition of the Philippine board of nursing are chairperson: Carmencita M. Abaquin; members: Leonila A. Faire, Betty F. Merritt, Perla G. Po, Marco Antonio C. Sto. Tomas, Amelia B. Rosales and Yolanda C.
